Senior Business Manager | Chief Of StaffLocation: Hybrid - Redmond WAPay rate: $65-$67/hourANDERSEN is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Business Manager / Chief Of Staff to support executive leadership and drive operational excellence across a complex organization. This highly visible role combines business operations, budget management, executive communications, stakeholder engagement, and Rhythm of Business (ROB) leadership.The ideal candidate is a seasoned business professional who excels at managing large-scale budgets, developing impactful executive communications, orchestrating organizational priorities, and influencing stakeholders across all levels of the business.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Operations & StrategyLead and manage the organization's Rhythm of Business (ROB) processes.Coordinate strategic planning, business reviews, leadership meetings, and operational cadences.Drive cross-functional initiatives and ensure alignment across business groups.Establish, document, and optimize business processes and operational frameworks.Maintain project goals, timelines, metrics, and governance structures.Budget Management & ForecastingOwn annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.Manage multi-million-dollar budgets and provide ongoing financial oversight.Monitor expenditures, track variances, and develop recommendations to address budget risks.Create executive-level financial reports and analysis to support decision-making.Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining organizational objectives.Executive & Internal CommunicationsDevelop high-quality executive communications, presentations, and business updates.Prepare content for town halls, leadership meetings, and organizational announcements.Draft internal communications, all-company emails, and leadership messaging.Create compelling business narratives and storytelling materials for executive audiences.Support external thought leadership content, including social media and LinkedIn communications.Stakeholder ManagementPartner closely with executive leadership and senior stakeholders.Influence decision-making through data-driven insights and recommendations.Coordinate across multiple teams to ensure timely execution of key initiatives.Build strong relationships across functions and organizational levels.Reporting & AnalyticsDevelop and maintain business performance reporting.Track organizational metrics and business outcomes.Analyze business trends and provide actionable insights.Maintain communication records, business metrics, and operational documentation.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.10+ years of experience in business management, business operations, chief of staff, strategy, or related roles.Proven experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets, including forecasting, financial analysis, and variance reporting.Strong executive and corporate communications experience with exceptional storytelling skills.Demonstrated ability to influence and manage stakeholders across complex organizations.Experience creating executive-level presentations, dashboards, and reports.Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.Preferred QualificationsPrevious Microsoft experience.Experience in a Business Manager, Chief of Staff, or similar executive support role.Experience managing Rhythm of Business (ROB) processes at the Vice President (VP) or Corporate Vice President (CVP) level.Direct experience supporting a Corporate Vice President or equivalent executive leader.Experience working in large, matrixed organizations.Key SkillsExecutive CommunicationsBudget Management & ForecastingFinancial Planning & AnalysisStakeholder ManagementStrategic PlanningBusiness OperationsProgram & Project ManagementExecutive PresenceCross-Functional LeadershipData Analysis & ReportingProcess ImprovementOrganizational EffectivenessTop Must-Have Qualifications5+ years managing multi-million-dollar budgets5+ years of executive and/or corporate communications experience5+ years of stakeholder management experience in a complex organizationWhat Success Looks LikeYou are a trusted advisor to executive leadership, capable of balancing strategic priorities with operational execution.
