We're partnering with a highly respected Twin Cities manufacturer to identify an experienced Accounting Manager for a highly visible leadership role within a large, enterprise Shared Services organization. This is much more than a traditional Accounts Receivable position. It's an opportunity for an Accounting Manager who enjoys combining technical accounting, financial analysis, operational leadership, process improvement, and people development while leading a critical Order-to-Cash function. Hybrid work schedule (3 days onsite / 2 days remote). What You'll Do Lead and develop a high-performing Accounting Operations / Order-to-Cash team. Oversee customer invoicing, cash application, customer account support, credits, and related accounting activities. Manage month-end close, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, financial reporting, variance analysis, and internal controls. Monitor operational performance, KPIs, and service levels while driving continuous improvement. Partner with Finance, Operations, and IT leaders to improve business processes and enhance the customer experience. Coach, mentor, and develop team members while fostering a collaborative, customer-focused culture. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline. Current Accounting Manager (or comparable accounting leadership experience) within a mid-sized or large organization. Strong technical accounting background including General Ledger, GAAP, month-end close, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, financial reporting, revenue recognition, and variance analysis. Prior Shared Services, Accounting Operations, Revenue Accounting, or Order-to-Cash experience preferred. Advanced Excel skills. Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building abilities. Passion for continuous improvement and developing high-performing teams.
