Configuration/Data Management Analyst

Description At Northrop Grumman, we are seeking a Configuration Management/Data Management Analyst to support product design and delivery across multiple programs at the Rolling Meadows campus. The role focuses on ensuring engineering documentation meets contract requirements, coordinating changes, and maintaining data integrity throughout the product life cycle. Responsibilities Plan and coordinate preparation of project documentation such as engineering drawings, production specifications, and schedules. Review contracts to determine documentation required for each project phase and apply knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes. Coordinate modification of records for management control and establish change orders. Prepare for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractors. Review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinate changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and data control activities. Maintain urgency, manage multiple tasks, and keep projects on schedule. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience in a corporate engineering or manufacturing setting, or a Master’s degree. Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Strong understanding of Excel, including report creation and data manipulation. U.S. citizen. Ability to obtain and maintain a minimum Secret security clearance with additional customer‑specified clearance before start. Preferred Qualifications Experience with complex databases such as SAP, TcE (PDM), ENOVIA. Prior military experience. Experience within the Defense Industry. Experience in data management. Experience interpreting government contractual documents. Proven written and analytical communication skills and detail‑oriented work processes. Experience working in a fast‑paced environment. Experience working with internal and external customers. Secret clearance. Benefits Salary range: $70,600.00 – $105,800.00, with potential overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonus, and long‑term incentives for eligible positions. Travel: 10% of the time. Clearance required: Secret.
