ABOUT THE POSITION:

The Tax Senior Associate specializing in the Consumer Products Group at Anchin will be responsible for delivering a full range of tax services for our clients in the consumer products industry. This includes the preparation and review of tax returns and tax planning. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws, strong analytical skills, and experience in the consumer products industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other entities within the consumer products industry.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and timely filing of tax returns while maintaining and managing tax records and documentation.
• Provide proactive tax planning and advisory services to clients in the consumer products industry.
• Identify and implement tax-saving strategies and opportunities.
• Research complex tax issues and develop solutions that minimize tax liabilities and maximize tax benefits.
• Understand clients' business operations, industry, and needs to provide tailored tax advice.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on tax issues and potential impacts on their business.
• Stay current with tax laws and regulations affecting the consumer products industry.
• Participate in continuing education and training to maintain proficiency.
• Contribute to the development and dissemination of best practices within the tax department.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide comprehensive tax services.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA highly preferred.

Experience :

• 2+ years of experience in tax, with a focus on consumer products industry.
• In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
• Great analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Proficient in using tax software and Microsoft Office applications.

Compensation:

• Competitive annual salary in the range of $90,000 to $125,000 based on individual's experience level.
