Customer Service Representative Full Time Commons Road, Utica, NY Utica, NY, US Salary Range: $21.00 To $23.00 Hourly Remet Corporation is seeking a highly detail-oriented Customer Service Representatives to support our customers and internal teams. This is a hands-on order-management role in which accuracy matters. Our customer orders can include multiple products, quantities, pricing terms, shipping instructions, delivery requirements, documentation, and customer-specific details. The right person will enjoy working through those details carefully and making sure an order is right before it moves forward. What You’ll Do Review customer purchase orders and instructions for completeness and accuracy. Enter and maintain customer orders in our ERP system, including products, quantities, pricing, dates, shipping information, and special instructions. Double-check entered orders against source documentation and identify discrepancies before processing. Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Shipping, Finance, Quality, and outside warehouses to keep orders moving accurately and on time. Maintain customer-specific pricing, shipping instructions, account notes, and documentation requirements. Provide customers with invoices, Certificates of Analysis, Safety Data Sheets, and other required documents. Respond to customer questions, changes, delays, and issues with professional and timely follow-up. Track open items and follow through until questions and issues are resolved. Follow established procedures, ISO requirements, work instructions, and customer-specific requirements. What Will Make You Successful You naturally notice details that other people may miss. You verify your work instead of assuming it is correct. When information conflicts or is missing, you ask questions rather than guessing. You can organize competing priorities and follow up without losing track of details. You communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers. You are comfortable with numbers, basic calculations, and computer data entry. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous customer service, order-entry, inside sales support, manufacturing, distribution, or business experience preferred. ERP or order-management system experience preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
