CNC Machinist

Now Hiring, CNC Machinist, Direct-Hire A Valve and fitting company, in Lincolnshire, IL, is looking for Experienced CNC machinists on 2nd shift. Monday - Friday. Job Details Salary: $25-30 hourly, depending on Experience. $45,760 - $62,400 per year. Shift: Second Work hours: 4 PM - 12:30 AM Education: High School Responsibilities Working on CNC Lathe and Swiss Machines able to do multiple set-ups and changeovers daily- short runs Troubleshoot/ Adjustments read blueprints/ Schematic specifications Steel , Aluminum, and other metals Perform stability study of gauges used, calipers, Micrometers Load and edit programs as needed Perform initial inspection when needed Maintain a clean work environment 4pm-12:30am, Monday- Friday Independently setup at least one type of CNC machine Operate machine/s while maintaining blueprint specifications Perform stability study of gauges used Load and edit programs as needed Perform initial inspection when needed Maintain a clean work environment Comply with all safety and sanitation regulations Use all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and instructed Performs other duties as assigned by manager Essential Functions working in a smoke free environment wearing steel toe shoes working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week Skills CNC Lathe Milling Drilling Setups Changeovers Qualifications Years of experience: 3 years Experience level: Experienced Benefits including: medical, prescription, dental, vision, AD&D, and life insurance offerings, short-term disability, and a 401K plan (all benefits are based on eligibility) Equal Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.
