What this job involves:The Senior Construction Project Manager role involves leading end-to-end project delivery by developing and executing project strategies, budgets, and schedules that align with both JLL and client objectives. The position serves as the primary client contact, guiding stakeholders through all design and construction phases while coordinating due diligence, contractor selection, and cross-functional team collaboration. The successful candidate will maintain master schedules across multiple projects, manage performance against critical milestones, and ensure timely project completion within established parameters.What your day-to-day will look like:Develop and execute project specific and client driven goals, schedules, budgets, strategy and detailed assumptions for accomplishing and managing goals and objectivesEstablish and maintain project goals and success criteria that meet both JLL and Client needsBuild and maintain rapport with client representatives and ensure that the scopes of project and outside business forces affecting the project is fully understoodCoordinate any necessary due diligence efforts on behalf of the internal team, project partners, clients and/or end users, maintaining and delivering all appropriate documentationDevelop detailed project budgets based on historical and market data and clearly defined set of budget assumptionsAct as the primary senior level contact with the client throughout the duration of the projectGuide the Client and team through the design implementation process including conceptual, schematic, design development and construction documentation and signoffDevelop and maintain Master Project Schedules and manage the successful execution of projects within required timeframesPrepare various RFPs needed for vendor and contractor services as well as manage the contractor, vendor selection processFacilitate all critical project meetings and coordination exercises with internal and external stakeholdersManage project performance against schedules, scheduled milestones and critical path items on multiple projectsManage construction contractors through construction, commissioning, punchlist, and closeoutRequired Qualifications:5+ years as a Project Manager or similar roleAbility to regularly communicate analyzed data to client and team to achieve project goalsStrong working knowledge of architectural drawingsHighly organized with strong analytical skillsStrong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with executive level external and internal clients as well as external team members (architects, contractors, client's representatives, etc.)Ability to manage all aspects of construction projects effectively and efficiently including, but not limited to budgeting, scheduling, submittals, change ordersExperience managing interior fitout and building infrastructure projectsExtensive knowledge of MS Office applications and MS ProjectMust reside in the Massachusetts regionPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution with preference towards a Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction ManagementExperience directing senior level project management services on client projectsUnderstanding of project specific and client driven goals development and executionKnowledge of due diligence efforts coordination and documentation maintenanceExperience with design implementation process guidance including conceptual, schematic, design development phasesUnderstanding of Master Project Schedules development and maintenanceExperience with RFP preparation for vendor and contractor services and selection process managementKnowledge of vendor and project team performance management for compliance with contractual requirementsUnderstanding of potential liabilities and risk identification, management and mitigationExperience with team training and development in firm procedures, methodology and practicesKnowledge of client relationship maintenance and expansion for revenue enhancementThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
