Details Work in the Emergency Department of a 38-bed hospital unit Facility is a Level III Trauma Center, Stroke Receiving, and STEMI Receiving facility Uses Cerner EMR system Day shift schedule, 3x12s from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM Floating required Requirements Active RN license (AZ or Compact) required Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required NIHSS certification recommended but not required Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience required Cerner EMR experience required Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months Additional Information Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy Demonstrate critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education Delegate patient care priorities and provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel Charge nurse experience preferred Black scrub color dress code Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered RTO requests must be less than 1 week Not eligible for consideration if previously employed as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years American Traveler Job ID P-736048.
