Building Maintenance SupervisorWe're seeking an experienced Building Maintenance Supervisor to lead the daily maintenance and repair operations of a large commercial campus. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader with experience in facilities management, building maintenance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and preventive maintenance.If you're organized, safety-focused, and enjoy leading a team while keeping facilities running efficiently, we'd love to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesSupervise and schedule maintenance technicians to ensure timely completion of work orders.Inspect buildings and facilities to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and compliance issues.Develop and oversee preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability.Coordinate repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and general building systems.Manage outside contractors for specialized repairs and improvement projects.Maintain work orders, maintenance records, and inventory using a computerized maintenance system.Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.Assist with department budgeting and monitor maintenance expenses.Train, mentor, and support maintenance staff while promoting a safe work environment.Collaborate with other departments to minimize disruptions during maintenance projects.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required; associate degree, technical certification, or trade school training preferred.Minimum of 5 years of building maintenance experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and general building maintenance.Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Ability to prioritize multiple projects while maintaining high safety and quality standards.Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and foster an inclusive workplace.Trade certifications (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or related field) are a plus.
