Purpose The Communications and Website Assistant is responsible for creating print, digital, and multi‑media resources, communications content, and maintaining websites. Education Must be enrolled as a York student. Experience Previous work experience may be considered. Skills Ability to creatively write content to engage an intended audience. Ability to meet deadlines and organize time effectively. Ability to create and update websites. Ability to learn and use a variety of computer applications. Ability to generate current ideas or recommend changes to existing programs. Ability to use social and digital media to effectively communicate or respond to others. Ability to interpret and apply best practices, policies, and procedures. Knowledge of graphic design software and platforms (such as Photoshop and Illustrator).
