Make a meaningful impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting Pre-K through 5th-grade students for the academic year in a vibrant school district. This contract position offers a consistent schedule from August 10th through June 4th, with each school day running 7:45 am to 4:15 pm and a 30-minute duty-free lunch. You'll have the unique opportunity to focus on one school location, managing a manageable caseload capped at 55 students. The district serves a diverse community across eight schools, fostering real connections with both students and colleagues.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active California SLP licensure is required
• Experience in pediatric and school-based settings is a plus
• CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome
• Comfortable working independently and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with IEPs, documentation, and best practices in school SLP services
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet student needs

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students Pre-K through 5th grade
• Assess and document students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational teams
• Provide engaging therapy sessions, adapting approaches to various learning styles
• Maintain thorough and timely records for all assigned students
