Work Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday 8:00am- 4:30pm. Pay Rate: $17.75 per hour plus shift differential.Job Responsibilities:Act a liaison between the lab, clients, and patients.Resolve internal & external customer requests via calls, instant messenger & email communicationsCommunicates with customers in respectful and professional manner.Work in multiple databases to research complex issues and questions.Provide customer education and information as needed.Review test forms for accuracy and report any discrepancies.Prepare and triage specimens for analysis.Accurately identify and label specimens.Pack and ship specimens as necessary.Prepare and store excess specimen samples.Minimum Qualification:High School Diploma or GED equivalentPreferred Qualification:Current or prior Labcorp experienceAssociates degree1 year or more of experience in a medical/clinical laboratory experienceAdditional Job Standards:Excellent communication skills; both written and verbalFamiliarity with laboratory operations as well as policies and proceduresComfortable handling biological specimensAbility to accurately identify specimensExperience working in a team environmentStrong data entry and organizational skillsHigh level of attention to detailProficient in MS OfficeAbility to lift up to 40lbs.Able to pass a standardized color blindness testBenefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
