Field Service Technician Laser

Job TitleESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Complete all aspects of the installation:Follow up on any aspects outside of the normal scope of work with the proper departments to obtain customer satisfaction.Complete status (service) reports, expense reports every week, and technical documentation as needed.Maintain excellent customer relations and follow through on customer issues.Maintain excellent coworker and manager relations.Complete other required internal paperwork (Urgent Parts Requests, Parts Removal Requests, Purchase Requisitions, etc.)Regular travel.Provide feedback to the manager on any machine and customer issues that require further action.NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Demonstrate a commitment to an Injury-Free Environment by complying with all aspects of the corporate environmental, health and safety program.REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:Area and Regional Service ManagersSUBORDINATE STAFF:NoneKNOWLEDGE:This position requires technical and working knowledge of:Mechanical systemsElectrical systemsHydraulicsSKILLS:Ability to use hand tools, Volt/Ohm meter, and Oscilloscope.Working knowledge of computers and Windows OS.Excellent written and verbal communication.Excellent relational skills (with customers, coworkers (senior and junior), and management).TRAVEL:Routine travel, with overnight and weekend stays as needed.LIFTING: Average Weight: 50 lb.
