Executive Housekeeper

Overview The Executive Housekeeper will provide leadership and direction to housekeeping supervisors and staff, establish and maintain quality standards, oversee scheduling and training, manage inventories and operating expenses, and foster a positive, productive work environment. Overview The Executive Housekeeper will provide leadership and direction to housekeeping supervisors and staff, establish and maintain quality standards, oversee scheduling and training, manage inventories and operating expenses, and foster a positive, productive work environment. Responsibilities Lead, schedule, train, and evaluate housekeeping team members to ensure efficient daily operations. Oversee the cleanliness, appearance, and condition of guest rooms, public areas, and housekeeping spaces. Conduct room and public area inspections to maintain quality and service standards. Coordinate deep-cleaning projects and manage preventative housekeeping initiatives. Partner with Front Desk and Maintenance teams to promptly address guest requests and facility needs. Maintain inventory levels of linens, supplies, and guest amenities. Monitor departmental expenses and help manage operating costs within budget guidelines. Promote a safe work environment by identifying and addressing safety, security, and housekeeping concerns. Complete administrative duties, including reports, performance documentation, meetings, and departmental communication. Foster a positive, professional work environment while providing hands-on support when needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum five (5) years of hotel housekeeping experience. At least three (3) years of supervisory or management experience in a housekeeping environment. Experience leading teams in a hotel, resort, casino, or hospitality operation preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong guest service orientation and commitment to quality. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and critical-thinking skills. Ability to work collaboratively across departments. Basic computer proficiency and mathematical skills. Ability to follow directions and maintain professionalism under pressure. Language & Communication Skills Ability to read, understand, and interpret policies, procedures, operating instructions, correspondence, and safety information. Ability to prepare routine reports and written communications. Ability to effectively communicate with guests, team members, and management in individual and group settings.
