7P-7A, 3 x 12 hour shifts, 36 guaranteed hours

Unit Information: (Surgical Oncology)

Weekends and On call(if any)

Every other weekend or 4 weekend shifts per month

Tell us about the unit(s):

· Number of Beds – 30 bed unit

· Number of Staff – 48 nurses/pct/huc

· Type of staff:

o Day Shift – (1 CNC, 5-6 RN, 2PCT

o Night Shift –(1 CNC, 5-6 RN, 2PCT)

· Patient Ratios (ESTIMATED)– 1:5/1:6

· Type of equipment – baxter pumps, scd machine, mobilab, glucometer

· EMR -meditech

Must have

candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

· Communication

· Compassion/Empathy

Preferred or nice to have

candidates with these skills will be considered first.

· IV insertion

· Chemotherapy

· Medication administration

· Chest tube management

· NGT management

· Foley management

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

· BLS
