Vice President, Private Credit About the Company Respected private credit firm Industry Financial Services Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is in search of a Vice President for its Private Credit division. The successful candidate will be a key leader within a small deal team, with a focus on middle-market investments across various sectors. Responsibilities for the Vice President include leading market and industry research to support investment theses, overseeing financial modeling, valuation, and return analyses, driving due diligence processes, and presenting investment opportunities to the Investment Committee. The role also involves post-investment monitoring and support for portfolio companies, as well as mentoring and managing junior team members. Applicants must have 5-7 years' of relevant experience, with a background in investment banking (M&A), private debt/credit, or private equity investing. A Bachelor's degree is required, and an MBA or other advanced degree is a plus. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills, and have a proven track record of leading transactions and managing cross-functional teams. Excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a preference for experience or interest in the specified sectors are also key qualifications for this role.
