Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Charlotte, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Medical Surgical with Telemetry Nursing opportunity is available in a healthcare facility in Charlotte, North Carolina. This position involves providing bedside care for patients with various diagnoses, including respiratory, cardiac, neurologic, and post-op cases, within a fast-paced inpatient setting. The role requires adaptability across multiple units and adherence to hospital protocols. Job Details Schedule: Nights shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification, 18 months of experience as a Med/Surg/Tele RN, and NC licensure preferred. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with stroke care, cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach care, PIV starts, chest tube management, NGT placement, drain/tube management (Dobhoff, PEG tubes, Hemovac, JP drains, flexiseals, Foley management), PCA pumps, and medication GTT management including cardiac drips, Heparin, blood products, and IVF. Additional Information: The position involves float responsibilities across all units within scope at the facility as needed, including Med/Surg, Telemetry, and specialized units. Orientation is 2 days, and work includes holiday rotations, with travelers expected to work approximately 75% of holidays. RTO requests up to 6 days off, excluding holidays. Scrub color is navy.
