Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Hampton Cove, AL |  Full-time

About the Role:

As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and their families every day. You'll evaluate and treat a variety of speech, language, communication, and feeding disorders while developing individualized treatment plans that help children build confidence and achieve meaningful milestones. Working alongside a collaborative team of therapists, you'll provide family-centered, play-based care in a supportive outpatient pediatric environment where every child's success is celebrated.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech and language difficulties, addressing problematic behaviors as needed.
• Identify and implement effective treatment options, while advising and counseling teachers on techniques for consistent application outside the treatment environment.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to address specific functional needs.
• Conduct re-evaluations to monitor progress for children on your caseload.
  

Qualifications:

• Excellent knowledge of principles and practices of speech-language pathology.
• Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage patients with different personalities and behaviors.
• Current knowledge of treatment practices and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
• A master's degree or greater in speech-language pathology is required.
• Valid license to practice as a speech-language pathologist or in the process of obtaining a license.
• Expertise in utilizing Google Suite products professionally.
