Description
  • Conduct thorough evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing both standardized assessments and observational insights.
  • Craft individualized treatment plans tailored to address both immediate and long-term goals in communication and swallowing.
  • Deliver direct, one-on-one speech therapy sessions targeting language, voice, fluency, and swallowing difficulties.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, physicians, nurses, and family members, ensuring a seamless approach to care.
  • Provide education and resources to patients and their families to support continued progress beyond clinical visits.
  • Occasional involvement in inpatient evaluations and treatments, facilitating consistent care during the pathway of rehabilitation.
  • Keep precise documentation that is in accordance with all relevant guidelines and regulations.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of latest trends and innovations in the field.
Education
  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), pending ASHA certification.
Certifications
  • Valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Mandatory Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within the first 30 days of employment.
