We are seeking an experienced Appian Technical Lead to lead the architecture, design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade Appian solutions supporting digital transformation and platform modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Appian architecture, workflow automation, integrations, performance optimization, security, governance, and CI/CD practices.
Key Responsibilities- Define Appian architecture standards, design patterns, reusable components, and development best practices
- Lead the design and development of scalable Appian applications, workflows, and business processes
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Appian development teams
- Design and implement integrations between Appian and enterprise systems including OnBase, REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and databases
- Ensure application security, data integrity, scalability, performance, and compliance with enterprise standards
- Establish development governance, CI/CD practices, deployment standards, and release processes
- Review and approve solution designs for alignment with enterprise architecture
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, business stakeholders, Product Owners, and technical teams
- Lead troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, performance tuning, and complex issue resolution
- Drive adoption of reusable components and Appian platform best practices
- Support solution delivery across design, development, testing, deployment, and production
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, and opportunities for platform improvement
- 10+ years of total IT experience
- 7+ years of application development and solution architecture experience
- Strong hands-on expertise in Appian design, development, and architecture
- Experience with workflow automation, case management, and business process design
- Strong experience with Appian integrations including REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and databases
- Experience with relational databases and data modeling
- Strong understanding of application security, scalability, and performance optimization
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Agile delivery, and enterprise SDLC
- Excellent technical leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
