This part-time, itinerant position focuses on providing vital care for medically fragile students during ESY (Extended School Year) programming, offering between 18.5 and 22.5 hours per week. Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Active RN license and current onboarding documentation
• Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric settings
• Skilled in care for students with diabetes (including insulin administration, carb counting, CGM use), epilepsy/seizure management, gastronomy, and bladder cauterization
• Ability to support students ages 4-22, including those with ASD and developmental delays
• Comfortable administering emergency medications (e.g., EpiPen, Benadryl) and responding to urgent health needs
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, though not mandatory

Core Responsibilities:

• Maintain and review student seizure and health care plans
• Train school staff in emergency procedures and health protocols
• Serve as primary contact for parents and caregivers to ensure continuity of care
• Provide on-call support for urgent health situations during ESY hours
• Assist with direct care tailored to individual student needs in various school environments
• Rotate between different students and campuses as needed
