Manufacturing Technician

Perform production welding, assembly, basic machining and other manufacturing processes.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

• Load & unload CNC cylinder head porting machines
• Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and machining finish to ensure product meets or exceeds quality standards.
• Pressure test cylinder heads.
• Wash and prep heads for assembly.
• Perform assembly, welding, and packaging operations of various products.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed.
• Manage supplies and equipment, including performing preventive maintenance and cleaning of assigned machinery, equipment, and work areas.
• Assist manufacturing personnel in machining, cleaning, inspecting, assembly, and any other duties as assigned in a team environment.
• Communicate and cooperate with the supervisor and all other members of the team to improve the operation in all areas including efficiency, productivity, and supply costs.

Education and/or experience: High school graduate or equivalent. Automotive technology, automotive high performance, or equivalent automotive machine shop training. Engine performance and rebuilding experience is a plus. Two years of experience in automotive machining is a plus. Must have experience with measuring and gauging equipment.

Shift: Monday - Friday, 1am - 9:30am
