JOB SUMMARY: Preparing parts and components for sub-assemblies and full valve assembly. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Clean parts and components in a parts washer using specified solvent and chemicals as required wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
- Prepare parts for the next stage of assembly process as instructed by supervisor or trainer.
- Put together basic sub-assemblies.
- Check all work for quality.
- Verifies part quantities and quality against work orders.
- Identifies and is accountable for various parts and materials.
- Fills out any paperwork and logs as necessary for tracking purposes.
- Complies with Safety policy and practice.
- Using golf cars to complete tasks. SKILLS REQUIRED: - Ability to operate a golf car is preferred.
- Ability to function effectively both individually and as part of a team.
- Detail Oriented.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Strong organization skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Prior experience in general assembly is a plus but not required.
