Make a meaningful difference supporting the social-emotional and academic growth of students in a thriving Texas district. This contract opportunity offers the chance to deliver dedicated onsite services across several campuses, providing psychological expertise and fostering positive educational outcomes for both elementary and high school students.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Texas School Psychologist license, in good standing
- Recent school-based experience with demonstrated skills in psychoeducational assessments
- Proven record performing Full Individual Evaluations (FIEs) and managing diverse caseloads
- Strong organization and time management capabilities to effectively juggle multiple deadlines
- Excellent communication skills for productive collaboration with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Reliable transportation for frequent travel between 3–4 assigned campuses; onsite work required (no remote option)
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational and behavioral evaluations in alignment with district and state regulations
- Attend and contribute to Student Support Team (SST) meetings and Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, clearly presenting evaluation outcomes
- Serve as case manager for Full Individual Evaluations (FIEs), ensuring processes comply with timelines and documentation standards
- Collaborate closely with special education professionals, teachers, administrators, and caregivers to promote student success
- Maintain accurate records and provide ongoing support to uphold compliance and best practices in assessment and service delivery
