RN - OR Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS, CNOR preferred Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferredExperience with EPIC charting system Description:This position is for weekend coverage consisting of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts.The nurse will be responsible for circulating a wide variety of urgent and emergent cases, including orthopedic and neurosurgical procedures.An expected patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:1.The nurse must be fully competent in all neurosurgical procedures, including craniotomies and complex spine surgeries.Weekend work is required as part of the job.The candidate may be required to cover any additional needs within the department.Reference checks will be conducted.Additional skills required include proficiency in various surgical procedures such as appendectomy, hysterectomy, and laparoscopic procedures.The operating room is a fast-paced environment that requires effective teamwork and communication.The position may require occasional floating to other facilities if needed.Emergency response capabilities and adherence to safety protocols are essential for this role. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cynet HealthStaff
