Part time positions are available and we work with your schedule!The Receptionist is responsible for facilitating resident and guest enjoyment by providing information and assistance in response to a wide variety of requests. We are searching for an outstanding individuals with excellent customer service skills. You must be able to multi-task and love to work in a "fast-paced" and "positive" work environment. This vibrant receptionist will be focused on customer service and one who truly enjoys interacting with seniors. Please be responsible/dependable, goal-driven and an autonomous self-starter with an entrepreneurial passion and drive to reach the pinnacle of success.Duties & Responsibilities:Provide exceptional customer serviceAnswer telephones, direct calls to appropriate individuals in a timely, clear, concise, and professional mannerMonitor the Emergency Alert System and immediately respond to every callEffectively manage business center and process incoming and outgoing mailMaintain a safe and secure environment, follow established safety standardsEncourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departmentsKeep front lobby area and front desk clean and organized; etc.Direct emergency personnel to emergency location and be contact person in case of emergencyDocument in the logbook any significant incidentsMaintain visitor sign in/out book, reservation book for guest rooms, and completes maintenance work ordersQualificationsQualifications:Experience in customer service is highly desiredPolished and professional appearance and demeanorUpbeat and positive team player attitudeStrong judgment and solutions-orientedProactive customer service approachMicrosoft and computer knowledgeThe last thing we need you to bring is your ideas, creativity, enthusiasm and high standards for resident care Avista Senior Living
