Quality Technician Full -time Technical Rothschild, WI, US 2 days ago Requisition ID: 1533 POSITION SUMMARY The Quality Technician is responsible for the daily operation, monitoring, and quality control of the E-Coat system. This role ensures the coating line operates efficiently, products meet established quality standards, and accurate production and inspection records are maintained throughout each shift. The Quality Technician also supports troubleshooting efforts, process consistency, and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain high-quality output and operational performance. WHY SCHUETTE? Vacation when you start Access to free Health Clinics – onsite and near-site Medical, Dental, Vision, Health Saving Account with company contributions, 401K with Company Match, Short Term & Long-Term Disability & Life Insurance TYPICAL SCHUEDULE Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare and start up the E-Coat system each day, including the rectifier, rinse tanks, and supporting equipment to ensure production readiness. Monitor the E-Coat process throughout production and inspect parts to verify coating quality and identify issues before full production runs. Perform quality checks and testing, including water break tests, titration testing, mil thickness checks, coating weight panels, and corrosion testing. Maintain equipment and work areas by checking filters, cleaning nozzles and tanks, and ensuring the system operates efficiently. Complete required documentation, paint certifications, Certificates of Conformance (COCs), DMRs, and non-conformance reports accurately and on time. Assist production and quality teams with troubleshooting, resolving quality concerns, and supporting corrective action initiatives. Communicate with customers regarding product rejections and quality-related concerns. Participate in weekly meetings to review quality performance, discuss production concerns, and support continuous improvement efforts. QUALIFICATIONS Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or quality environment. Familiarity with E-Coat or liquid coating processes is preferred. Ability to perform quality testing and accurately record results. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while maintaining safety and quality standards throughout the shift.
