Sales Engineer

Based in Hollywood, FL, Sintavia, LLC designs and additively manufactures critical components for the Aerospace, Defense, & Space industry. SUMMARY Responsible to identify and help develop strategic relationships with current and potential customers in order to assist in the development of a strong pipeline of new business opportunities through direct or indirect customer contact and prospecting, assist in growing and expanding with existing customer bases. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Acts as customer focal point for contracts and programs Sends RFQs internally to the estimating team, performs and streamlines internal reviews and to customers Works as liaison between customers and internal departments in the development of quotes and execution of contracts Familiarizes oneself with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures Assist with the structuring and negotiating of commercial and defense agreements with customers, suppliers and partners, ranging from NDAs to complex sale and licensing agreements Meet with customers and assist sales team with relationship maintenance Assist with contract reviews Propose suggestions for strategic marketing and sales Maintain records of classification, rulings and internal guidance Evaluate market research and adjust marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions Prepare sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion Represent the company at trade shows and meetings to promote the company Perform project management on small to medium projects Assist in other tasks as required Adhere to all workplace safety guidelines, policies and laws determined by the Company, state, and federal authorities QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in related field or equivalent 3+ years related experience or equivalent Must be a highly motivated self-starter that can identify potential problems and collaborate with management to take action Must possess willingness to assist where needed to ensure the company meets its goals and objectives on time Ability to use computer software to include but not limited to: Syspro, Siemens Teamcenter, Microsoft Excel and Word Must possess time management skills Willing to learn and apply new skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively Demonstrated ability to work well with cross-functional groups Self-motivated, able to multi-task, and detail oriented Strong organizational, problem-solving and decision-making skills Must be able to learn procedures quickly and be a team player Additive Manufacturing Experience REQUIREMENTS Easily adapt to new organizations / technical environments Project management on small to medium projects PREFERRED Manufacturing experience preferred Aerospace experience preferred Sales/Business Dev.
