Amgen seeks a Specialty or Senior Specialty Representative for bone health in Birmingham, Alabama. The role involves delivering clinical product knowledge to healthcare professionals, managing territory sales, and navigating reimbursement issues to drive appropriate medication utilization.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals and drive appropriate product utilization
• Achieve territory sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement with healthcare customers
• Develop and manage key accounts, customize discussions based on customer needs, and resolve reimbursement issues
• Conduct medical educational programs and implement marketing strategy as directed by District Manager
• Analyze territory performance, provide feedback on marketing effectiveness, and develop territory plans

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree with 4 years sales experience, or High school diploma with 6 years sales experience
• Pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or healthcare industry experience preferred
• Product sales experience in oncology, cardiology, inflammation, bone health, or related specialties preferred
• Advanced relationship-building and sales management skills
• Knowledge of payer environment and reimbursement processes
• Life Sciences or Business Administration degree preferred

Compensation: $89,880–$121,602 (Specialty Representative); $115,036–$155,638 (Senior Specialty Representative) annual base
