TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Wilmington, North Carolina, 28401!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:45 - 07:15) Experience: 2 years minimum required License: Active Nursing License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Teamwork approach to patient care Focus on patient safety Description: This is a neuro unit. RTO after booking is not allowed. Call-offs or additional RTO on unit may lead to cancellation. The unit will accept first-time travelers. Local candidates are also accepted with a rate difference. The unit is comfortable with floats. Weekend requirement includes 5-6 shifts per contract duration. Contract staff may be assigned to work during catastrophic events. Daily patient diagnoses include general medicine, with a focus on neurology. Staffing ratios are 1:6. The facility utilizes specific systems for medication, documentation, and communication. Candidates must pass EKG testing prior to starting. Patient age groups served include adults and geriatrics. The unit involves interdisciplinary support teams for comprehensive care. Experience with NIH and neuro is preferred but not mandatory. In order to enhance patient care, teamwork is essential in this unit. Willingness to learn the charge nurse role is appreciated. Charting systems experience is preferred. The unit emphasizes safety and effective communication in patient care practices.
