As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Ontario, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic utilities location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and when appropriate, emergency response actions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, perimeter, parking areas, and/or operational zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and report maintenance, hazard, and/or suspicious activity observations to the appropriate contact.
• Support security-related operations at a utilities location by communicating clearly with site personnel, following post orders, and assisting with traffic and/or visitor management as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
