Probate Manager

Bethesda, Maryland Estate Planning and Estate Administration Law Firm is looking for a full Probate Manager. This role offers meaningful client interaction, a high level of independence, and the opportunity to expand your experience in Probate and Trust Administration. You will collaborate closely with established attorneys while working directly with clients, playing an important role in supporting both our clients and the continued growth of the firm. We are seeking someone who is enthusiastic about guiding clients through complex legal matters and motivated to further develop their knowledge and skills in estate and trust administration. Qualifications: Familiarity with Probate and Trust Administration and Estate Planning terminology as well as inventory and accounting procedures, or a demonstrated interest and eagerness to learn; Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, experience with CLIO and BNA is a plus; Attention to detail and accuracy with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically; Strong organizational and time-management skills and ability to multitask; Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with clients; Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment; Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion; and Paralegal certification and three years of experience in Probate/Trust Administration or Estate Planning, or a demonstrated interest and eagerness to learn. Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare Probate Petitions and various Probate related filings; Create detailed valuation reports and accountings for Probate and Trust Administrations; Assist with Probate/Trust case management from start to finish including tracking deadlines, filings, and court dates; Work with attorneys to Prepare estate tax returns; and Perform general administrative duties, including maintaining client files, scheduling meetings and assisting Legal Assistants as needed in a small firm environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr Handler & Levine, LLC
