Injection Molding Engineer

We are a growing injection molding and production company focused on delivering high-quality parts and exceptional service to our customers. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Injection Molding Engineer with experience in VISI CAD software and strong customer communication abilities. The Injection Molding Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving injection molded parts and tooling using VISI CAD software. This role requires close collaboration with customers, internal teams, and production staff to ensure successful project execution from concept through production. Key Responsibilities Design and develop injection molded components and tooling using VISI CAD software Analyze part designs for manufacturability and recommend improvements Work closely with customers to review designs, address concerns, and provide technical guidance Support new product launches, including tooling validation and process development Troubleshoot molding and tooling issues to improve efficiency and quality Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to optimize processes Maintain accurate documentation for designs, revisions, and engineering changes Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience) 3+ years of experience in injection molding engineering Proficiency in VISI CAD software or similar software Strong understanding of plastic materials, tooling, and molding processes Experience working directly with customers in a technical capacity Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Preferred Qualifications Experience with mold design and tooling development Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles Familiarity with quality systems and standards (ISO, etc.) Competitive salary based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays 401(k) with company match Opportunities for growth and advancement Health savings account Life insurance Interested in this position?
