Responsibilities Assist the dentist during various dental procedures and ensure a smooth workflow. Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and treatment plans. Oversee sterilization of instruments and maintain a clean and organized operatory. Train and mentor junior dental assistants, fostering a collaborative environment. Provide exceptional patient care by addressing concerns and ensuring comfort. Schedule appointments and manage patient follow‑ups effectively. Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols. Assist in inventory management and ordering dental supplies as needed. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; dental assistant certification preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a dental assistant, with leadership experience a plus. Current CPR and AED certification required. Strong knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and equipment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks. Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills. Proficient in dental software and Microsoft Office Suite.
