Dishwasher

Thoroughly wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning techniques and sanitizing procedures. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic chopping or ingredient handling under supervision. Support bussing duties by transporting used dishware to the dishwashing area efficiently. Follow all food safety management protocols to ensure sanitation standards are consistently met. Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly, including dishwashers and cleaning tools. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing station and surrounding areas to uphold health and safety standards. Handle manual lifting of heavy items such as large pots or crates with proper technique to prevent injury.

Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and sanitation practices in a commercial kitchen setting. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen health and safety standards are advantageous. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting the kitchen staff. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, and weekends or holidays as needed.
