We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Cook to join our team at Clove Lakes Health Care and Rehabilitation Center, a premier healthcare facility on Staten Island, NY. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional service to our residents and their loved ones, ensuring their overall well-being and satisfaction.
We are currently seeking an Evening Cook to join our team at a skilled nursing facility. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen while making a meaningful impact on residents' daily lives.
Position Details
- Schedule: evenings
- Alternating weekends required
Compensation
- $30.00 PH
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and dietary requirements
- Ensure food quality, taste, and proper presentation
- Follow all sanitation and safety guidelines
- Assist with food prep, portioning, and service
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Work collaboratively with dietary staff and supervisors
Requirements
- Previous cooking experience (healthcare or institutional setting preferred)
- Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work scheduled shifts
- Team player with a positive attitude
