Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Rancho Cucamonga, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue12:30 PM - 08:00 PMWed12:30 PM - 08:00 PMFri12:30 PM - 08:00 PMSat01:30 PM - 09:30 PMSun01:30 PM - 09:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailers, parking areas, entry points, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access to the location, verify authorized personnel and visitors as directed, and document arrivals, departures, and unusual activity. Report observed hazards, damaged property, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A guard card or license is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
