Production Process Manager

Position Title: Production Process Manager FLSA Classification:

Reports To: Director of Operations Date: 7/21/25

JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective: Manage the daily activities of the production process and personnel. This position requires a complete understanding of the production process and the roles that each employee fills to ensure a productive, efficient production result.

Essential Functions:

* Demonstrate proficiency in all requirements of a level 4 production associate job description.

*Learn and demonstrate proficiency in all zones on the production line. To include pleating, forklift operation and inventory cycle counts.

*Learn and demonstrate proficiency in managing the production team as needed.

*Learn and demonstrate proficiency in completion of all production documentation.

*Demonstrate the ability to lead a team of production employees to meet the established production metrics.

*Assist with production scheduling in the absence of the Production planning manager

*Maintain and enforce the employee attendance policy for each member of the production team.

*Assist with production document flow process.

*Responsible for employee performance review process for all members of the production team.

*Maintain the payroll process for all production employees.

Work Environment:

*Indoor work is required.

*Working conditions can change based on seasons.

Physical Demands: Lifting of up to 50lbs on a daily basis.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

*40 hours per week with potential for overtime .

Travel: No travel is required for this position.

Required Education and Experience:

*High school diploma or equivalent.
