Actively engage in actions that contribute to the overall mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD. Qualifications Education/Certification/Licensure High school diploma or GED 60 semester college hours in business or accounting preferred Special Knowledge/Skills Effective verbal and written communication Working knowledge of software applications for word processing, spreadsheets, and accounting/bookkeeping systems Strong organizational skills Experience Minimum of 3-5 years general office experience Two to 5 years of full-charge computerized bookkeeping experience in a business or comparable environment Major Responsibilities and Duties Maintain all financial records for the school activity fund by accounting for all school-sponsored activities’ financial records, including general ledger, cash balance, detailed accounts, and subsidiary journals. Maintain all financial records on computer utilizing district-approved software. Process all financial transactions in accordance with district financial procedures and policies. Process and account for all money generated and distributed in school-sponsored activities. Serve as recourse for principals and activity sponsors on financial management issues. Reconcile all bank accounts associated with the student activity fund; report reconciliations in district-approved format and under district guidelines. Assist the principal’s secretary for campus budget responsibilities. Provide analytical data and reporting for various district-directed projects in computer spreadsheet formats. Participate in audits with the district internal auditor. Check for cash receipts (deposits) from the Food Service Department on a daily basis.
