Solar Sales Representative – High Commission
G8 Solar | Ontario, California
G8 Solar is looking for motivated and professional Solar Sales Representatives to help homeowners throughout Southern California transition to solar energy and battery storage.
We are looking for salespeople who are hungry to grow, comfortable speaking with homeowners, and interested in earning strong commissions based on the size and scope of each completed project.
What You'll Sell
• Residential solar panel systems
• Tesla Powerwall 3 and home battery systems
• Solar + battery packages
• EV charger installations
• Electrical panel upgrades and related energy solutions
Compensation
Commission-based position with strong earning potential.
Typical commissions may range approximately from $2,000–$3,000+ per completed project , depending on the project size, scope, pricing, and sales agreement.
Larger projects may qualify for higher commissions.
There is no fixed salary unless otherwise agreed in writing. Compensation is based primarily on successfully completed sales/projects.
Responsibilities
• Generate and follow up with potential customers
• Speak with homeowners about solar and battery options
• Schedule appointments and perform customer consultations
• Gather basic information about the customer's home and electric bill
• Explain available solar, battery, and electrical solutions
• Follow up with leads and customers
• Work with G8 Solar to prepare project pricing and proposals
• Maintain professional communication throughout the sales process
• Help move qualified customers from initial consultation to signed agreement
What We're Looking For
• Motivated and dependable
• Strong communication and people skills
• Comfortable working on commission
• Self-driven and able to follow up consistently
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Sales experience preferred
• Solar sales experience is a plus, but not required for the right candidate
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a major plus
