Director, Social Engagement

Director leading Pfizer's organic social engagement strategy and team across branded and unbranded platforms. Accountable for social media operations, community management, content governance, and performance measurement while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to align social programs with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Set organic social engagement vision and strategy across Pfizer-branded and unbranded platform handles
- Lead and develop team of social media experts; establish goals, coaching, and development plans
- Build editorial calendars and establish governance models for channel management and content operations
- Define measurement framework, KPIs, and dashboards; publish monthly and quarterly performance reports
- Establish response guidelines, SLAs, and escalation protocols; partner with moderation vendors on safety compliance
Requirements
- 8+ years in social media, community management, communications, or related field
- Advanced proficiency in social listening, moderation strategy, and crisis response
- Platform-native expertise across Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Experience designing KPI frameworks, dashboards, and performance measurement
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams with clear accountability
- Knowledge of content governance, compliance workflows, and regulatory requirements
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with Marketing, Legal, Medical, and Regulatory teams
