You will be working within a specialized detox facility, which means your interactions may often involve clients who are in vulnerable stages of recovery from substance use or other intense psychological issues. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough client evaluations using a strengths-based approach to develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.

• Facilitate one-on-one therapy sessions, as well as conduct couples and family therapy as needed, guiding clients through their therapeutic journeys.

• Partner with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and nurses, to provide a holistic and comprehensive care experience.

• Maintain detailed and accurate client progress notes in our electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with state and federal documentation standards.

• Engage in regular professional development activities, including supervision sessions and workshops, to enhance your clinical skills and stay updated on the latest therapeutic modalities.

• Ensure adherence to ethical standards and legal guidelines surrounding mental health practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily be working with individuals and families affected by mental health issues related to substance use dependence. Clients may come to us with co-occurring disorders that necessitate a comprehensive treatment approach. You will have the opportunity to help clients navigate their recovery processes, providing tools for coping and resilience, with the aim of achieving stability and independence.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program, paired with an active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A minimum of three years of direct experience in mental health or outpatient settings, particularly involving substance use treatment.

• Extensive knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, with strong skills in crisis intervention and conflict resolution.

Compensation and Benefits\n
