What You'll Do

1. Operate industrial mixing equipment to make glues and sealants.
2. Follow batch tickets to measure and mix materials correctly.
3. Use a sit-down forklift to move raw materials and finished products.
4. Lift and load materials weighing 50+ lbs throughout the shift.
5. Monitor mixing processes and perform quality checks.
6. Fill and move 50-gallon drums of finished product.
7. Enter production data and complete paperwork in the computer system.
8. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.

Requirements

• 1+ year of manufacturing or production experience.
• Sit-down forklift experience.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 50 lbs.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Comfortable using a computer for data entry.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Strong English reading, writing, and communication skills.

Work Environment

• Industrial chemical manufacturing facility.
• Hot, non-air-conditioned environment.
• Frequent forklift traffic and machine noise.
• Long sleeves required at all times.
• Regular schedule: 2nd Shift (6 PM to 6 AM), rotating 2-2-3 schedule.
• Training on 1st Shift (6 AM to 6 PM) for 1 to 3 months.

This is a Permanent position based out of Columbia Heights, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
