Mixing Machine Operator

Mixer Operator What You'll Do Operate industrial mixing equipment to make glues and sealants. Follow batch tickets to measure and mix materials correctly. Use a sit-down forklift to move raw materials and finished products. Lift and load materials weighing 50+ lbs throughout the shift. Monitor mixing processes and perform quality checks. Fill and move 50-gallon drums of finished product. Enter production data and complete paperwork in the computer system. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area. Requirements 1+ year of manufacturing or production experience. Sit-down forklift experience. Ability to repeatedly lift 50 lbs. Basic math and measurement skills. Comfortable using a computer for data entry. Able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. Strong English reading, writing, and communication skills. Preferred Chemical mixing or batch processing experience. Machine operation experience. SAP or inventory system experience. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Work Environment Industrial chemical manufacturing facility. Hot, non-air-conditioned environment. Frequent forklift traffic and machine noise. Long sleeves required at all times. Regular schedule: 2nd Shift (6 PM to 6 AM), rotating 2-2-3 schedule. Training on 1st Shift (6 AM to 6 PM) for 1 to 3 months. Benefits Pay increase upon permanent hire. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Columbia Heights, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
