Implementation

Implementation Consultants at C8 Health oversee technical and operational onboarding for new clients while guiding upgrades and expansion for existing accounts. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of active projects to ensure timely go-lives, configure technical integrations, naviagte complex organizations, mitigate risks, and help build scalable onboarding processes.

The Implementation team at C8 Health

You will be joining a growing Implementation team and report directly to the Senior Director of Implementation. In this role, you will take ownership of a portfolio of clients in various parts of their customer journey, working closely with a dedicated Customer Success Manager on each account. You own the build — platform configuration, technical integrations, timeline management, and stakeholder coordination toward the north star of ensuring high adoption.

What you’ll do

• Conduct technical discovery and operational scoping conversations to drive high quality outcomes for each phase of the implementation.
\n
• Manage platform configuration for each client, on schedule and with a high-quality customer experience.
\n
• Own technical coordination for SSO, SFTP, and other integration workflows — understand requirements, communicate clearly with hospital IT teams, and serve as the escalation point for configuration-specific challenges.
\n
• Drive stakeholder accountability across clients and internal teams, proactively securing the deliverables needed to advance each phase and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships through open communication and effective handoffs.
\n
• Collaborate with the Customer Success Manager on each account to ensure client expectations are clearly defined and aligned, customizations are planned, and any risks are surfaced early.
\n
• Build and continuously improve the implementation process — establishing phase-gate structure with clear milestones, dependencies, and go/no-go criteria, while documenting repeatable steps and identifying automation opportunities that shape our product roadmap and implementation scalability.

Who you are

\n
• 4+ years in implementation or technical onboarding.
\n
• 4+ years working with clinicians or administrators in hospital-based healthcare; you understand how health systems operate and how to navigate their IT and clinical stakeholder environments.
\n
• Takes a high degree of ownership for achieving good outcomes across time to value, implementation quality, and high platform adoption.
\n
• Thoroughly understands SSO/SAML configuration, SFTP-based data workflows, and API integration concepts — not as a builder, but as an owner who can read documentation, ask the right questions, and drive resolution.
\n
• Resilient. You rebound from setbacks, handle ambiguity well, and bring a can-do attitude to difficult situations.
\n
• Fluent in AI tools and their ability to improve your day-to-day efficiency.
\n
• Strong project management skills and experience using tools such as Jira and Google Workspace.
\n

• Structured and self-directed. You run customer-facing projects where you don't control the deliverables, creating accountability without friction, managing multiple concurrent workstreams without dropping details, and escalating the right things at the right time.
\n
• Technically curious. You dig into the details of a platform, read integration specs, and are comfortable being the bridge between a client's IT team and our engineering team.
\n
• Process-oriented. You instinctively document what you do, identify what is repetitive, and ask how it could be automated or standardized.
\n
• Organizationally savvy and a clear communicator. You maneuver comfortably through complex stakeholder environments, anticipate obstacles, and adapt your communication style to clinical stakeholders, IT contacts, and internal teams alike.
\n
• While most of the work will be remote and independent, this position may involve approximately 1-2 days of domestic travel 1-2 times per month.
\n
