Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessments that encompass mental health, substance abuse, and medical needs, ensuring assessments are age- and culturally-appropriate.

• Provide a range of behavioral health services, including individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, treatment planning, intake, and thorough evaluations and assessments.
\n
• Document all patient interactions diligently using electronic health record systems, including progress notes, mental health evaluations, and suicide risk assessments, to track client progress effectively.
\n
• Act as a liaison between clients and external resources, referring them to local support services and community agencies, including medication assistance programs.
\n
• Engage with Quality Improvement teams to develop standardized processes for data collection and analysis, improving service delivery and client outcomes.
\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our detox center primarily serves individuals grappling with substance use disorders, alongside co-occurring mental health issues. The population is diverse, representing various backgrounds, ages, and socioeconomic statuses. In this role, you will work closely with clients exhibiting varying levels of need, from those seeking immediate detox support to individuals in need of comprehensive long-term recovery strategies.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a valid and unrestricted state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) is required.

Preferred Experience\n

• Three (3) years of relevant post-licensure experience, particularly in mental health or substance abuse settings.

• Demonstrated proficiency in crisis intervention techniques and an ability to exercise independent judgment in counseling scenarios.

• Experience in group facilitation and planning, contributing to effective group therapy sessions.
