Growing together.As a Program Operations Lead (Agile Practitioner 2) and Sr Systems Management Analyst (GL28), you will operate at an advanced level of proficiency, leading complex data interface programs, client onboarding efforts, and enterprise-wide initiatives. This role builds on foundational and intermediate levels (GL25-GL27) by combining deep technical expertise, program leadership, and strategic influence.You will lead large-scale initiatives spanning claims extract implementation, vendor integrations, and multi-team program delivery while serving as a subject matter expert, mentor, and operational leader. This includes ownership of delivery outcomes, risk management strategy, client experience, and process innovation.You will enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:Lead complex client onboarding and implementation of standard and custom claim extractsManage connectivity, data interfaces, and integrations across multiple platformsServe as primary liaison for clients, internal teams, and third-party vendorsOversee ServiceNow requests, ensuring SLA compliance and delivery excellenceExecute and lead QA, testing strategy, and validation of data outputsDrive program execution, coordination of multi-team dependencies, and release schedulesProactively identify, mitigate, and manage program-level risks and operational bottlenecksDefine, track, and report operational metrics and performance guaranteesLead process improvement initiatives and introduce automation and efficienciesServe as SME and mentor across Data Interfaces and Project Management disciplinesManage staffing, including temporary resources, during peak demandLead cross-functional planning sessions and stakeholder alignmentDrive customer experience improvements and NPS outcomesProject & Program Management Responsibilities:Lead execution of complex vendor transition and program plansCoordinate resources, timelines, and deliverables across multiple teamsServe as SME in project scope definition, risk identification, and methodologyManage high-risk and complex projects with full responsibility for outcomesGenerate and analyze delivery and project metricsEnsure compliance with Agile and governance standardsImplement change management processes to improve delivery outcomesInfluence forecasting, planning, and budgeting processesLead Agile teams, scrum teams, and large program workstreamsProvide training and mentorship to project managers and analystsYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear directions on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:5+ years of experience in systems management, data interfaces, or program operations3+ years of experience leading complex programs and multi-team delivery2+ years of experience with tools such as ServiceNow, Jira or similarProven leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skillsPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in technical or business fieldPMP, Agile, Scrum or SAFe certificationHealthcare or PBM experienceStrong knowledge of claims systems, file integrations, and data solutionsExperience with automation, reporting, and analytics toolsExperience in remote/global program environments*All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $91,700 - $163,700 annually based on full-time employment.
