RRT Respiratory Therapist Neurodiagnostics

The Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) provides specialized respiratory care and neurodiagnostic support across multiple hospital units including floor care, emergency room, and rapid response teams. This role involves patient assessment, respiratory treatment, and participation in code and rapid response situations. The therapist must collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced acute care environment. Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory therapy and neurodiagnostic services to patients across various units.
• Respond to emergency codes and rapid response calls efficiently and effectively.
• Perform patient assessments and implement treatment plans as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Float between units as needed to meet patient care demands.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatments in the Epic electronic medical record system.

• Current Washington State Respiratory Therapist license (WA LIC IN HAND).
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• Experience in floor care, emergency room, code response, and rapid response environments.
• Ability to manage patient ratios of approximately 1:11.
• Proficiency with Epic charting system.

• Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center and pediatric trauma care settings.
• Familiarity with short-term acute care hospital operations.

• No on-call duties required.
• Must be available to work every other weekend.
• Block scheduling is required.
• Participation in code and rapid response teams is mandatory.

• Block schedules with weekend shifts every other weekend.
• Shift assignments may vary to accommodate floating between units.
