Help Power the Transition to Electric Mobility

Join a team that builds the hardware behind DC fast charging. In this hands-on role, you’ll assemble and wire mechanical and electrical systems that keep EVs moving.

• Team: eMobility
• Location: Knightdale, NC
• Shift: 6:00am – 2:30pm
• Pay: $19.76 per hour

• DC charger cabinets and dispensers
• Mechanical sub-assemblies and steel structures
• Control wiring harnesses and power cabling
• Parts kits and aftermarket assemblies

• Follow bills of materials (BOMs), layouts, and assembly drawings to complete builds.
• Assemble mechanical components; route and terminate control wires; install and dress power cables.
• Apply proper torque with calibrated torque wrenches; verify and document results.
• Accurately record job-related transactions throughout the build process.
• Adhere to standard work and actively support process improvements.
• Comply with all safety rules and promote a safe work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisors/Management.

• 1+ year of mechanical assembly experience or work in a mechanical discipline.
• 1+ year using hand and power tools (pneumatic and battery).
• Knowledge of torque tools and specified torque values.
• Ability to measure accurately with a tape measure and other measuring tools.
• Skill in identifying mechanical parts and basic electrical components.
• Capacity to perform physical work safely in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to reach, grasp, lift up to 50 lbs, and push/pull/slide materials.
• Comfort standing for an entire shift; able to stoop, bend, squat, crawl, sit, and climb.
• Basic English literacy (reading, writing, speaking).

• High School Diploma or GED
• SAP familiarity
