Receiving Coordinator

Receiving Specialist Peli BioThermal offers temperature-controlled packaging and service solutions to the global life sciences industry. Our products help protect critical biological materials and pharmaceuticals throughout the supply chain. We're looking for a Receiving Specialist to join our team in South Deerfield, MA. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse/manufacturing environment and has experience with receiving, inventory, shipping and receiving, and forklift operations. What You'll Do Receive incoming materials and verify shipments against packing slips, manifests, and delivery documents. Verify product quantities, counts, weights, and shipment documentation for accuracy. Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect materials. Enter receiving transactions into the company ERP system and maintain accurate electronic records. Scan and maintain receiving documentation for electronic filing. Perform cycle counts and make inventory adjustments as needed. Work closely with Purchasing, Accounting, Shipping/Receiving, and Receiving Inspection to resolve discrepancies and keep materials moving. Process returned materials and notify the appropriate departments of RMA activity. Receive and process Stock Transfer Orders (STOs). Coordinate the movement of materials and paperwork to and from outside vendors. Assist with material handling and moving inventory throughout the facility. Train Material Handlers on receiving procedures and processes. Interact professionally with delivery drivers, vendors, and internal teams. Follow company safety, quality, and operating procedures. Support continuous improvement initiatives and other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience. 12 years of receiving, warehouse, or shipping/receiving experience. Experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts. Ability to pass the required forklift certification. Basic computer skills with experience using Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to accurately complete paperwork and follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. as required. Flexibility to work overtime, including evenings and weekends when needed. Preferred Qualifications Experience with SAP or another ERP system, particularly materials management and shipping/receiving functions. Experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Experience working in a GMP environment. Experience with inventory control and cycle counting. Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience. Why Join Peli BioThermal?
